IHE / About / Divisions / Division of Thermodynamics / Teaching

The Division of Thermodynamics conducts classes for first and second level students, in both full-time and part-time (weekend) modes. The Department's offer consists of a several courses including lectures (Lect.), tutorials (Tut.) as well as a wide range of laboratory exercises (lab.) and projects (proj.).
The subjects of the classes are wide: from the basics of technical thermodynamics and mechanisms of heat exchange through energy transport and the use of numerical methods in solving problems of heat exchange.
Classes at the Thermodynamics Division mainly include content intended for students of Power Engineering, however, many subjects are prepared and developed for other paths: Aerospace Engineering, Automation and Robotics as well as Mechanics and Machine Design. Most subjects are available in English.
